SENATE BILL NO. 292 "An Act relating to the registration and                                                                    
operation of pawnbrokers and to the exemption for pawnbrokers under                                                             
the Alaska Small Loans Act; and providing for an effective date" was

Senator French, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                                                                
adoption of the Judiciary Committee Substitute offered on page 2141.                                                            
Without objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 292(JUD) "An Act                                                                      
relating to the registration and operation of pawnbrokers, to the                                                               
exemption for pawnbrokers under the Alaska Small Loans Act, and to                                                              
the exclusion of pawnbrokers under certain definitions in the Uniform                                                           
Commercial Code; and providing for an effective date" was adopted.                                                              
                                                                                                                                
Senator Ellis moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill be                                                                
considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final
